
HYUNDAI TRADE SHOW EXHIBIT
Building for Tomorrow
Hyundai is one of the more notably forward thinking in the industry.
dedicated to progressing humanity forward by creating new chapters in mobility and “help redefine our journey as a global community.”
i attempted to capture these themes in the fabric of my Trade show exhibit.

THE IMAGE OF INNOVATION
My first course of action was to find a suitable design to push these themes of innovation, constant progression, and development and that was when I discovered the Hyundai NVision 74.
The NVision is a former Hyundai model now remade as an all electric supercar with a commitment to technological development and environmental sustainability there was no better form to mirror the values of the company.
EVENT ZONING
After creating a design that takes direct influence from a side air intake on the NVision 74 I then needed to find an effective method of floor zoning. I wanted to create an area that was enter-able from all directions and allowed for a spot to draw in visitors but also give visitors an opportunity to explore the other aspects of the Hyundai brand.
To do this I wanted to start with a circular area at the center to showcase the NVision 74 concept car whilst showcasing brand themes such as future outlook, current lines, and a look into technological developments in zones set around the perimeter of the event space.
Sketch progressions
Once I had properly zoned the space I then started creating basic sketches of each area to get an idea of how the space will come together. While the sketches are very simple quick they are integral to piecing together my understanding of the space before I begin modeling.
Zone 1 - The Exhibit
This is the main “Instagram-able” moment, a monument piece for pictures and set the tone entering the experience. The main exterior as stated earlier is designed based off of the side air vent of the NVISION 74 with a backlight sign making use of Hyundai’s logo text. The exhibit is also on flat ground and open to all sides to allow for no accessibility restrictions.

Zone 2 - THe Showcase Stage
This is the main statement area of the exhibit interior. Here the NVision 74 is showcased in all its glory lit by a large light box that takes the form of the Hyundai logo and placed onto a large rotating platform. This is visible from all exterior angles and will draw visitors into the experience to explore all that Hyundai has to offer.
ZOne 3 - The Present
In this zone guests would be able to learn about some of the current vehicles that are offered at Hyundai specifically showcasing the Ioniq 6 and what was at the time the new Ioniq 7. Detailing the exclusive features and new EV technology that the vehicles are equipped with.
ZOne 4 - The TECHNOLOGY
In this zone guests would be able to learn about the future plans of Hyundai and get a behind the scenes look into some of their development processes and commitment to a more energy efficient future as Hyundai looks to make the switch over to new advanced EV Technology.
ZOne 5 - THE NVISION LINE
In this zone guests would be able to learn about the upcoming N line and some of the ways that it is set apart from some of their more standard vehicle lines already on the market. Showcased here are the clay models made which help manufacturers get a sense of vehicle scale and the Veloster N Hyundai’s new sporty hatchback.
ZOne 6 - THE LOUNGE
In this zone guests will be able to relax a little bit get a refreshment from our small bar and sit take a break from all of the crowds in a more segmented off, more private area. Or if a guest is interested in learning a little bit more about Hyundai’s future plans or how they can find themselves in one of these upcoming vehicles they can speak to a representative here.
